In a new age of media, creative content has dominated college football. Well, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish just topped every other program when it comes to jersey reveals. On 11/8, Notre Dame takes on BYU in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium for their yearly Shamrock Series game. While a neutral site and obscure opponent is tradition for the Shamrock Series, Irish fans like myself are really on the edge of our seats to see what jerseys they will be wearing.

Notre Dame revealed their 2022 Shamrock Series jerseys in the only way that made sense, seeing that the game will be played in Las Vegas. Defensive end Isaiah Foskey, tight end Michael Mayer, head coach Marcus Freeman, and both Mike Golic Sr. and Jr. reenacted the famous “black Doug/white Doug” desert exchange from Hangover…and it was awesome.

Freeman played Bradley Cooper; the “voice of reason”. Foskey was Ed Helms; the toothless dentist executing the deal. And Michael Mayer was Zach Galifianakis; the bumbling man child that sports a baby on his chest.

Aside from the corny, yet creative video, I adore these Shamrock Series jerseys.

The white and gold combo is beautiful and Notre Dame always kills the small details of these jerseys. The Cathedral landscape on the sides of the jerseys is about as good as it gets. Then you get the small shamrock in the back center of the neck as a very tasteful touch. NOTRE DAME BY 60.
