Kansas State fans don’t get the chance to celebrate very often. They’ve never seen their football team win a BCS/New Years Six bowl, and most of them weren’t alive the last time their basketball team went to the Final Four in 1964. So when the opportunity to revel in an athletic accomplishment arises, they make the most of it. Who can forget about the time K-State made DVDs to celebrate the time they almost made the Final Four but didn’t?

For those of you who were worried that K-State had run out of minor accomplishments to put on a t-shirt, I have good news.

This shirt recaps the Wildcats’ historic wins over Texas (5-7), Texas Tech (5-7), TCU (6-7), Baylor (7-6) and Texas A&M (8-5). If beating five teams who posted a combined record of 31-32 isn’t worth lamenting on a t-shirt, I’d like to see what is.

While these new shirts are obviously straight fire and definitely won’t get made fun of on the internet, some other t-shirt ideas were not so lucky. Here are a few of the proposals that weren’t quite t-shirt worthy.

This was actually a split bronze medal with Tulsa.

The greatest moment in Kansas State football history.

They did 11 points better than Las Vegas thought they would.

The second greatest moment in Kansas State football history.

Marshall also claims this award, but they chose not to make a t-shirt for it.

People forget that.

The Cats were responsible for 1/8 of Mayfield’s interceptions last season.

This is honestly the best thing K-State can say about that game.
