College basketball is BACK! On Friday, we get to start a new road towards March Madness and everything starts anew. Duke has a billion new freshman coming back with Grayson Allen, Michigan State has Miles Bridges, and Devonte Graham is back to lead the Jayhawks. Arizona, Kentucky, and Villanova are all title favorites per usual, but there is another team lurking in the shadows: The Wichita State Shockers. Wichita will move to the American Athletic Conference this season, battling with the likes of Cincinnati for the league title. Landry Shamet and Marcus McDuffie are one of the top returning tandems in the country and have a legitimate shot at going all the way.

Every week during the year, the Student Union Sports staff will compile our top 25 rankings, starting with the preseason. While Duke at the top is no surprise, the rest of the rankings are all over the place.
