Conference Tournament season is upon us. If you’re like me, you’ve pounding beers since 6 a.m. trying to psych yourself up for the Kennesaw State vs. Jacksonville game tonight. The return of conference tournament season also means the return of America’s favorite game, The Jerome. If you don’t know, The Jerome is a fairly simple contest where you try to guess the winner of every conference tournament. Easy enough, right?
We asked our staff here at Student Union to give their picks. There were some that we all agreed on (see Atlantic Sun) and there were some that seem like a total crap shoot (see Big South). This is part one of The Jerome. Part two will be next week once all the power conferences determine their brackets. This week all mid-major conferences (yes, the Big Ten is a mid-major conference) which make for some of the best March drama every year. Without further ado, here are our staff picks.
