Get your greasy pizza and 30 racks of Busch light ready folks, because we got one hell of a weekend of college football coming up! Conference Championship/Title Games are here and they are going to provide must-see TV both Friday and Saturday night. So, basically what I’m advising you to do is to get the boys together and expect to not have a sober breath until Sunday morning.

Friday Night’s Games:

Pac-12 Championship: #4 Washington vs. #8 Colorado
Okay, so here’s the deal, Washington has balled out all year and is possibly in line for a College Football Playoff spot if they win, but if they don’t their magical season could be a very underwhelming finish. The stakes are extremely high but Jake Browning and Co. are elite this year and they’ve shown us time and time again they have what it takes. While Washington is enjoying one of their best seasons in a LONG time, Colorado is too and they frankly don’t care if Washington is 11-1, the Buffs plan to knock them off their pedestal and take home a Pac-12 Championship. The Buffs have the #1 total defense and Washington has the #1 offense. It’s gonna be fucking lit.

Prediction: Washington has a nice win that *should* lock them into the CFP.

MAC Championship: #17 Western Michigan vs. Ohio
This one isn’t nearly as great of a matchup as the other games this weekend, but WMU is in the midst of their best season in school history and sitting at #17 PJ Fleck’s squad has a chance to really make some noise if they can reach a New Year’s Six Bowl. Senior WR Corey Davis set the FBS record for receiving yards last weekend, so definitely watch out for him Friday night. Ohio will have to really show up Friday night if they want to win, but they are embracing their underdog role in this game and they feel if they limit their turnovers they will have no problem hanging around with WMU and winning the MAC Championship.

Prediction: Row. The. Boat. The Broncos will win big and earn a well-deserved spot in the Cotton Bowl.

Saturday Night:

Big Ten Championship: #6 Wisconsin vs. #7 Penn State
I’m extremely jealous of fellow StudentU writer and PSU student Erik Oakley, who is going to be down in Indy getting schwasted and taking in the Big Ten Championship game! His Nittany Lions have gotten better and better each game this year and QB Trace McSorley has led them to an 8-game win streak and the #25 scoring team in the country. Wisconsin has put together a hell of a résumé themselves, with their only losses coming to top 5 schools. With both of these teams hoping for a playoff berth, the stakes are higher than a 16 year old at a Wiz Khalifa concert. It’s worth mentioning Wiscy’s QB Alex Hornibrook will be entering the game as “questionable” after a head injury last weekend.

Prediction: PSU takes advantage of a banged up Hornibrook, wins the Big Ten Championship & Erik gets obliterated.

ACC Championship: #3 Clemson vs. #23 Virginia Tech
Deshaun Watson has made a run for the Heisman trophy AGAIN and if it wasn’t for Lamar Jackson, he might be in line to win it. Leading the Tigers to a 11-1 record and a potential CFP spot, Watson has been scoring more than a rich man in a whore house. Virginia Tech on the other hand, will have the fun role of possibly playing spoiler to Clemson’s incredible season and bringing the ACC Championship trophy home at the same time. Clemson’s only loss came to Pitt and Virginia Tech  QB Jerod Evans threw for 400+ yards on Pitt in a win, so don’t count the Hokies out! They want this one really bad.

Prediction: Clemson escapes with a win in a much closer game than expected.

Big 12 Title Game: #9 Oklahoma vs. #10 Oklahoma State
The 2016 “Bedlam” rivalry game between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State doesn’t get any better than this for fans. This year’s game will determine who wins the Big 12 title and with the teams separated by one spot in the latest CFP rankings, this has the makings of a fun one. Oklahoma has been on fire since their week 3 loss to OSU and their duo of Baker Mayfield and Dede Westbrook is the best duo since Dale & Brennan in Step Brothers. Oklahoma should have no problem scoring this weekend, but Oklahoma State has scored 30+ points in each of their last 7 games, proving they should be able to keep pace with the Sooners. Expect this game to be an absolute shootout for the Big 12 title.

Prediction: Sooners come out with a close win to capture the Big 12 title.

SEC Championship: #1 Alabama vs. #15 Florida
Sometimes I feel bad for the other teams in the SEC because every year there are some really good teams that Alabama makes look mediocre at best. Alabama will be looking to win their 4th SEC Championship in the past 5 years and with the #1 total defense in the country and a stud freshman QB in Jalen Hurts, they are more than ready. Florida has been stellar on defense this year too, so if they want to stand a chance they will need to have a MASSIVE game defensively.

Prediction:  Sorry Gators, Bama is gonna roll to another SEC Championship and an undefeated record entering the CFP.

Well, that’s all for this week guys! I got no upsets this week, but I think we’re in for one of the best weekends of college football this year! Make sure to drink before, during, and after the games, and as always stay lit my friends.
