Yearly Record: 19-19-2

Lock Of The Week: Ole Miss +2 at LSU

This line is flat out disrespectful. The Ole Miss offense is putting up 502.9 yards per game this season behind Jaxson Dart and the LSU is allowing 338.0 yards per game. I think that the idea of the game being at LSU is being blown out of proportion. Yeah, it’s tough to play in Tiger Stadium, but it’s not like Ole Miss is traveling to the arctic to square off with a team of abominable snowmen. HAMMER OLE MISS +2.

Syracuse +13.5 at Clemson

Syracuse is hot, but Clemson plays clean, methodical football. That doesn’t mean the Orange won’t cover today. While Cuse is 6-0, they’re also 5-1 against the spread this season. Clemson on the other hand is 4-3. Behind the rushing attack of Sean Tucker and Garrett Shrader, I think Cuse keeps this game close and covers. A factor not really being discussed is that it’s a noon game at Clemson. Their most electric atmospheres occur when the sun goes down. Give me Cuse on the cover.

UCLA +6 at Oregon

Again, I feel like I’m seeing a disrespectful line. Playing in Autzen isn’t a monumental task and UCLA’s offense being conducted by Chip Kelly and Dorian Thompson-Robinson is pretty scary. UCLA is 4-2 against the spread this season, and the last time Oregon was laying six points was against Washington State and the Ducks didn’t cover. By the time this game wraps up, I don’t think UCLA just covers…I think they win.

TCU -3.5 vs Kansas State

I’ve recently reassessed my college quarterback Mount Rushmore. I removed Money Manziel and added Money Max Duggan to replace him. The second coming of Andy Dalton has the Horned Frogs at undefeated on the season and Kansas State wont stop that train. They’re 4-2 on the year when it comes to covering and I have a boatload of faith in Duggan. IN DUGGAN WE TRUST.

Tulane -7 vs Memphis

On last weeks “Is It Saturday Yet?”, the Tulane Green Wave were my G5 shoutout team, and for good reason. They’re 6-1 on the season in addition to being 6-1 against the spread this season. With it being a home game and Memphis being 3-4 on the year agains the spread, this feels like free money. The Green Wave have also had a margin of victory of seven or more points this season five times. All signs point to putting your tuition on Tulane.
