On Tuesday morning, the XFL kicked off the start of the XFL draft by announcing the quarterbacks that were assigned to the eight teams in the league. The league will begin play this February. With QB being the most important position on the field, it is interesting that the league assigned this position by team rather than opening them up to the normal draft process. This group includes a lot of former college starts that you may recognize. The names are listed by team below:

Dallas Renegades: Landry Jones (Oklahoma)
DC Defenders: Cardale Jones (Ohio State)
Houston Roughnecks: Phillip Walker (Temple)
Los Angeles Wildcats: Luis Perez (Texas A&M Commerce)
New York Guardians: Matt McGloin (Penn State)
Seattle Dragons: Brandon Silvers (Troy)
St. Louis Battlehawks: Jordan Ta’amu (Ole Miss)
Tampa Bay Vipers: Aaron Murray (Georgia)
