We finally have something to watch! The 2020 NFL Draft is today! That means I included some trades here and these are my last few educated guesses as to where some of these guys are going. Let’s go.

1. Cincinnati Bengals – QB Joe Burrow, LSU

Burrow. Sharpie. (Shoutout @SethDavisHoops)

2. Washington – EDGE Chase Young, Ohio State

Chase Young is the best prospect in this class and putting him on Washington’s already solid defensive line could make Washington a very dangerous team.

3. Los Angeles Chargers* – QB Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama

Trade number one! The Chargers give up pick 6, 2 2nd rounders and a 4th for Detroit’s 1st and a 6th. With that pick, the Chargers are going to take their franchise QB.

4. New York Giants – LB/S Isaiah Simmons, Clemson

The Giants’ pick gets leaked every year and all the signs are pointing to Simmons here. He’ll be a centerpiece of their defense as they try to revamp.

5. Miami Dolphins, QB Justin Herbert, Oregon

The Dolphins got jumped for Tua, but they seem to like Herbert more anyways. They get their guy and get to keep all of their picks.

6. Detroit Lions* – CB Jeff Okudah, Ohio State

Okudah can be Detroit’s starting corner from day 1, and they definitely need the help there.

7. Carolina Panthers – DT Derrick Brown, Auburn

There are no cornerbacks, linebackers, or edge rushers worth taking here so the Panthers go with the best player available with Brown.

8. New York Jets* – OT Jedrick Wills Jr., Alabama

Trade 2! New York gets ahead of Cleveland and Jacksonville to get their OT1 in this year’s class, Jedrick Wills. They give up their third-round pick to get it done.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars – CB C.J. Henderson, Florida

Given the drop off between CB2, C.J. Henderson, and CB3, whoever it may be, the Jaguars will reach to ensure they don’t miss out on filling that need.

10. Cleveland Browns – OT Tristan Wirfs, Iowa

Cleveland needs all the help they can get on that offensive line. Unless a top tier prospect slips, they’ll be drafting a tackle.

11. Arizona Cardinals* – WR Ceedee Lamb, Oklahoma

The Cardinals pick up a 3rd rounder and get to polish off a top 5 offense in the NFL. Kyler Murray to Ceedee Lamb is starting to look more and more likely.

12. Oakland Raiders – WR Henry Ruggs III, Alabama

Oakland likes their wide receivers fast and athletic. We know Ruggs is fast and the video below shows he’s definitely athletic.

13. San Francisco 49ers – WR Jerry Jeudy, Alabama

Kyle Shanahan is going to be licking his chops at the idea of scheming Jeudy into his offense. Jeudy could win OROY here.

14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – OT Mekhi Becton, Louisville

Tompa Bay is going to need some protection, and the monstrous Becton is going to be too hard to pass up.

15. Denver Broncos – OT Andrew Thomas, Georgia

With the top 3 receivers gone and not a lot of options offensively, the Broncos decide to add protection for Drew Lock.

16. Atlanta Falcons – EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson, LSU

Even adding Dante Fowler, the Falcons could use some help on the edge and Chaisson is the second-best edge this class has to offer.

17. Dallas Cowboys – DT Javon Kinlaw, South Carolina

The Cowboys have more pressing needs than the interior defensive line, but the slipping Kinlaw is too enticing.

18. Miami Dolphins – OT Josh Jones, Houston

Miami will add some protection to make sure Herbert isn’t under pressure his entire rookie year.

19. Philadelphia Eagles* – WR Justin Jefferson, LSU

The last trade! The Eagles, wary of Jacksonville drafting Jefferson at 20, trade next year’s third-rounder to make sure they get the fourth-best wide receiver in the draft.

20. Jacksonville Jaguars – OT Isaiah Wilson, Georgia

After getting jumped for Jefferson, Jacksonville chooses to improve their offensive line to give Gardner Minshew as much help as they can.

21. Oakland Raiders* – CB A.J. Terrell, Clemson

Terrell’s stock dropped after the National Championship Game when he got burned twice by Ja’marr Chase. I don’t know why. The Raiders get a very solid corner here.

22. Minnesota Vikings – CB Jeff Gladney, TCU

Here’s the run on cornerbacks. Gladney is going to play right away in Minnesota’s corner-needy defense.

23. New England Patriots – QB Jordan Love, Utah State

Belichick is smart. If Love works out here, he’ll be Brady’s replacement. If he doesn’t, he’ll make him a trade piece after next season. It’s worth the risk for the Patriots.

24. New Orleans Saints – CB Kristian Fulton, LSU

With about 8 cornerbacks in tier 3 and Gladney/Terrell already off the board, the Saints select the hometown kid to play opposite Marshon Lattimore.

25. Minnesota Vikings – WR Brandon Aiyuk, ASU

The Vikings will take the explosive Aiyuk in hopes he can kickstart their offense following the trade of Stephon Diggs.

26. Miami Dolphins – RB D’Andre Swift, Georgia

Miami’s offensive revamp continues as they add Swift to Herbert and Jones. Swift will get a lot of touches from day one.

27. Seattle Seahawks – LB Zack Baun, Wisconsin

The Seahawks need somebody to play linebacker and somebody to rush the edge. Baun can do both.

28. Baltimore Ravens – LB Kenneth Murray, Oklahoma

Kenneth Murray can become a vital part of an already much-improved defense in Baltimore.

29. Tennessee Titans – DL A.J. Epenesa, Iowa

Epenesa, who started the season in the top 10 of mock drafts, finds himself underrated now. He’ll be a great fit in Mike Vrabel’s defense.

30. Green Bay Packers – WR Denzel Mims, Baylor

The Packers need to add a weapon for Aaron Rodgers, and Mims is the top receiver left on the board.

31. San Francisco 49ers – CB Trevon Diggs, Alabama

The 49ers finish off the first round with a new WR1 and a solid cornerback opposite Richard Sherman. Diggs will fit in right away.

32. Kansas City Chiefs – OG Cesar Ruiz, Michigan

Kansas City’s offensive line, while solid, could use some help on the interior. Ruiz is the best interior offensive linemen in the class.
