After an awful Week 1 for all 8 of my Fantasy Football teams, I had something to prove. However, that didn’t happen. Technically, we saw improvement, but that’s relative when you’re TERRIBLE.

QC Fantasy Football

Team: Future Champion Record: 0-2

This auto-drafted team sucks. There are some nice pieces, but as the biggest sports guy in the small business, my reputation has a chance to get ruined if we don’t figure it out.

With only 3 scorers above 18 points and a negative performance from the Bengals defense, this team never really stood a chance. Will, my co-manager for one of my stores, only had 3 players not reach double digits and trounces this shit team 125.7-103.6. I can’t stress enough how much this team sucks.

Just Some Boys From MoHo

Team: Future Champion Record: 2-0

After giving my opponent a DRUBBING in Week 1, we had a scare in Week 2. Coming into Sunday, we were 20 point underdogs. An early 80 yard touchdown run from Raheem Mostert gave the team some life.

Unfortunately, after the morning and afternoon slate of games, we were down and down BIG 131-105.8. That even includes 30 from Pat Mahomes and 29.9 from Calvin Ridley, the number 1 fantasy receiver through the first 2 weeks. With only the Patriots D, Sony Michel (because I benched James Connor), and Darren Waller to go. Getting only 9.9 points from the Patriots D and Michel meant Waller had to have a really nice game. He did just that posting 12 catches on 16 targets for 103 yards and a touchdown for 28 points and a nice comeback W. Final score 144-131.

This team has the 8th ranked QB, 7th ranked RB, and number 1 receiver so far. However, we lose Mostert for the foreseeable future and are now very thin at RB making this team’s next few weeks very nerve-wracking.

Student Union Podcasters League

Team: Future Champion Record: 0-2

With another reputation on the line, we come up short. My “Numbers guy” reputation could be tarnished within the SU podcast group if this team loses a third straight game. You can’t talk shit and claim to be good at fantasy football with a start like this.

Despite 25 from Nick Chubb on Thursday night and 34 from STUD QB Josh Allen, we were no match for 5, 15+ point performances from the Not Gonna Lie Podcast. A heart breaking 136.3-134.6 loss.

Another Jared Cook catch, or 20 more rushing yards from Clyde Edwards-Helaire would’ve been a winning performance. This means next week is MUST win.

12 Tight Pussy’s

Team: Hopihopwood’s team Record: 1-1

I’m getting so sick of sucking in this league every year. So to combat that, the squad, led by Josh Allen, gets a HUGE win 219.8-173.6.

As I mentioned last week, this league has an atrocious scoring system because Yahoo sucks. However, we love it this week. Mike Evans and Waller both with 30+ points and Josh Allen’s FIFTY-TWO (52) points led the way to a 219.9-173.6 victory. What a week it could’ve been with David Montgomery (33 points), Jared Goff (37 points), and Mike Gesicki (40 points) all on the bench.

Tin Knockers

Team: Hopihopwood’s Team Record: 0-2

I’m getting so sick of these auto-drafting, old guys beating me. I have literally no idea how it keeps happening. Oh wait, yeah I do, I’m second in “points allowed”. It’s so annoying.

Getting hammered by 34 points stemmed mostly from Matt Ryan and Alvin Kamara getting 40 and 33 points respectively. Unfortunately, it’s all about who you play that week. Final score: 169.4-135.2.

Badger Fantasy League

Team: Judge Jeudy Record: 0-2

This is another league I get so frustrated with. This team moved to 0-2. 2nd in the “points allowed” category, this team gets piss pounded, weekly.

Despite scoring the 3rd most points in the league this week, That wasn’t enough as my opponent scored the 2nd most. That culminates to a 134.5-118.5 loss.

Russell Wilson, Nick Chubb, and Travis Kelce all played well, obviously. His whole team scored at least 11 points and everyone with the exception of the his kicker and defense scored 15.

Samurai League

Team: Wallermelon Eaters Record: 1-1

This week, I played the 3rd most points scored… GOOD THING I WAS THE HIGHEST SCORING TEAM THIS WEEK. BANG!

5 Players with at least 20 points and the name sake, Darren Waller, added a 36 spot to lead the Eaters to a whopping 26 point victory.

However, first round, first pick Christian McCaffery is going to be sidelined for multiple weeks. This is no good. There’s an obvious lack of running backs on this team and could be detrimental to this team. It could even lead to a second straight year of the first overall pick. A fall from grace after being the league runner-up in my first year which was 3 short seasons ago.

Random Dyansty League

Team: Team BigHoppa32 Record: 1-1

With only the future in mind in this league, it’s ok to take L’s early in the inaugural season. Take the lumps now, before we become a Patriots like dynasty.

Josh Allen, Calvin Ridley, and Jonathan Taylor headlined this team this week, but lacked production from any where else. My opponent getting great games from Mahomes, Carson, Metcalf, Waller, Austin SEX-ler, and James Robinson, sealed my fate. Final score 147.6-125.5.

Season Performance

Week 2 Record: 3-5 2020 Fantasy Football Record: 5-11

With the initial goal of sharing this information to flex how good I am at fantasy football, I’m embarrassed. We need big performances from everyone next week, but with the injury bug hitting the NFL this past week and hitting our teams, we are just going to play the team in front of us.
