The Bulldogs now seem to be invading the neighboring Yellowhammer State. After the flip of commitment today from George Pickens, Georgia now has landed the top two players in Alabama. Pickens, the #2 WR in the country and the 7th overall recruit, switched from the Auburn Tigers today to go to Athens instead. He had been committed to Auburn since July of 2017… yes 2017!

Standing at 6”4, 190 pounds, George Pickens has been destroying opposing teams in high school as a red zone threat. The Hoover, Alabama native racked up 1,387 yards and 15 touchdowns in his prolific junior year.

In addition to Pickens, the Bulldogs also beefed up their line by adding five star center Clay Webb, who is ranked as the best center in the country and 28th overall. After being recruited heavily by both Bama and Auburn, Webb made his final decision on going to Athens back in December. If Georgia keeps snagging players like this, things could keep getting more and more interesting in the SEC and Alabama develops some true threats to their throne.
